SomniPlanet Acquires Galévie Santé
SomniPlanet acquires Galévie Santé to expand its homecare services for sleep apnea patients across France.
Impact Expansion is pleased to announce that SomniPlanet has reached an agreement to acquire Galévie Santé, a regional homecare company based in Caen (Normandie) treating patients suffering from sleep apnea. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Galévie Santé was founded 15 years ago by Madame Gaëlle Lecordier. She has developed the company by working with specialist doctors looking for qualitative treatment for their patients suffering from sleep apnea. SomniPlanet and Galévie Santé share the same ambition to provide homecare services, maximising treatment efficiency and adherence for the benefit of patients’ health.
During the transition period, SomniPlanet will work with Galévie Santé’s team to ensure patients and doctors are smoothly integrated. They will quickly benefit from SomniPlanet’s innovative patient care model, increasing satisfaction and allowing doctors to reduce administrative burden, spending more qualitative time with their patients.
Sleep apnea is an under-diagnosed chronic disease that has become a major healthcare challenge affecting one in three people worldwide and leading to co-morbidities such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and stroke. Today, SomniPlanet treats several thousands of patients located around the Paris region, the north of France, Occitanie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and now Normandie thanks to its acquisition of Galévie Santé.
